Japanese Ivory or Netsuke
Japanese Ivory turns out to be a great search term to use to filter out Ebay auctions for less valuable carved Japanese items. I did a search for Netsuke, and got back hundreds of items, many of them cheap modern carvings in boxwood. There is nothing wrong with them, but if you are looking for real ivory carvings the list below will be more interesting.
